ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Doug White

A fifth-generation Mississippian, White was a long-ago history major when there wasn't as much material to memorize, is an Alabama grad, that also attended Ole Miss. Married with three children, six grandchildren, three stepchildren and six step-grandkids, he enjoys going to the gym and sometimes even exercises. When not writing, White keeps busy reading Southern History and discovering little-known minutiae therein. Previous titles "Gallows Reckoning" and "Bones of The Black Warrior" were released in 2024. Another release in 2025 marked a new direction for White, with "Re-Deranged," written in the sci-fi, horror, fantastic tale genre. "An Untimely Corpse," his sixth book, is a compilation of 20 short stories, also in the sci-fi, nightmare, horror realm and frequently sees the bad guy win.
